irn bru sfl logoThe Chief Executive of the Scottish Football League (SFL), David Longmuir, indicated at the end of May that any proposals to restructure the top tiers of Scottish football from the SPL will be considered "in a spirit of cooperation."

Revenues across the SFL were slightly down on the previous season but the soft drinks company, AG Barr have renewed their sponsorship for a further three years.

Designer: Errea

Sponsor: Lints Property

The Blue Brazil arrived in the First Division courtesy of the play-offs, their second consecutive promotion. The club have to find a way to enlarge their pitch, which is below SFA standards and constrained by the stock car track that provides vital income. The club have been fined and risk losing their licence if a solution is not found, although suggestions that they might arrange a ground share with Spartans FC were dismissed in May.

The teams home and away strips are in their usual colours, updated to one of Errea's latest templates.

To mark their 125th anniversary, Dunfermline have added a commemorative legend in gold above the crest, which is itself outlined in gold. Their new strips are similar to Puma's Africa range, with stippled red detailing on the home shirt. The away strip is an unusual shade of mauve with light blue and mauve stippling. Black shorts are available to wear with the home strip when there is a colour clash.

The poor quality of the replica kits supplied by Bukta to Morton and other clubs last season mean that the world's oldest sportswear brand has lost all its contracts in Scotland. Puma now supply the Greenock club although the designs are fundamentally unchanged.

Albion were promoted as champions of the second division last season. The club has been up for sale since last June and faced eviction from the Forthbank Stadium for non-payment of rent. In August the club was finally bought by the Stirling Albion Supporters' Association after a lengthy fund-raising campaign.

After a six year association with Vandanel, Albion have switched to Puma. Their home kit is, as usual, all-red with white trim. The words "Real Football for Real Supporters" are printed below the crest to mark the transfer of ownership to the club's fans.
