FIFA World Cup 1994 Knock Out Stages
Bulgaria's successful run continued and they disposed of the reigning world champions Germany before reaching the semi-finals, their best ever performance in the competition. With supreme irony, Roberto Baggio, who had scored the vital goals that had taken Italy to the final, missed the vital kick that handed Brazil their fourth world title.
